For UAE schools

SEND management software built for UAE schools — not a UK product with the labels swapped.

UAE international schools operate under a regulatory and cultural framework that no UK-built product can address out of the box. ADEK's inclusion policy sets specific expectations for how schools identify, plan for and report on students of determination. The Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) sets requirements on how pupil data is processed and where it is stored. Most schools serve multilingual families whose first language is not English. OMNIA was built with all of this in mind from day one.

ADEK, PDPL, and the regulatory reality

OMNIA uses the vocabulary UAE schools actually use — IEP, DLP and ILP — rather than forcing the EHCP/SEN Support taxonomy onto practitioners. Inclusion data is structured around ADEK's expectations, with inspection-ready evidence packs aligned to the UAE School Inspection Framework. Plans, provision maps and outcomes can be exported in the formats ADEK reviewers expect.

For PDPL, OMNIA supports UAE-region data residency through BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) integration with Azure OpenAI on the UAE North region. This keeps pupil-related AI processing inside UAE sovereign infrastructure under your school's own Azure tenancy — not in a vendor-managed inference pipeline elsewhere. Encryption at rest uses AES-256-GCM with rotating keys.

Built with a UAE founding school

Brighton College Abu Dhabi (BCAD) is OMNIA's founding school partner in the UAE. The platform was shaped through daily use alongside a practising SENDCo in an international UAE setting — not designed in the UK and translated.

Three things UAE inclusion leads ask for first

  • Multi-language parent portal. Parents see plans, outcomes and review notes in Arabic or English. Voice intake forms support both languages and the platform handles the translation work without exposing pupil data to public AI tools.
  • DLP/IEP/ILP vocabulary that matches your school. OMNIA does not force one plan taxonomy. Configure the plan types your school uses and the platform tracks compliance against your own definitions.
  • UAE North data residency via Azure BYOK. Connect your own Azure OpenAI deployment. Pupil-related inference stays in the region. No traffic to US or EU regions unless you choose it.

The honest position

OMNIA does not replace ADEK guidance, the SENDCo's clinical judgment, or external specialist involvement. It is a platform for the everyday work of inclusion — planning, evidence, communication and compliance — that frees inclusion leaders to do what only they can do.
