For New Zealand schools

Built for ORS-funded and school-based IEPs — with a real 6-month ORS review cadence on the way.

Most SEND platforms default every review cycle to 12 months because that's what England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland all use. New Zealand doesn't. A student receiving Ongoing Resourcing Scheme (ORS) funding from the Ministry of Education needs an IEP reviewed twice a year, not once, and OMNIA's jurisdiction model already knows this. We're finishing the work to wire that 6-monthly cadence fully into our automated renewal pipeline, so it never quietly falls back to the 12-month default a system built for the UK would assume.

ORS-aware, with the review pipeline in progress

OMNIA tracks ORS-funded students separately from school-level IEPs for students at Universal or Targeted tiers who aren't ORS-funded, and its jurisdiction settings already define the real 6-monthly ORS cadence. Fully wiring that cadence into the automated renewal pipeline is our current New Zealand build. The platform never submits an ORS application on your behalf — that stays with the Ministry's own process — and dedicated evidence-of-need bundles for that process are on our roadmap.

NZ Curriculum language, not an imported taxonomy

IEPs, targets and provision are framed in the language your Learning Support Coordinator and the Ministry actually use — not translated from an EHCP or IDEA-shaped template that happens to have the words changed.

Three things NZ Learning Support Coordinators ask for first

  • A genuine 6-month review clock for ORS students — in progress. Modelled correctly today; full pipeline wiring is our current build, so it can't quietly default to 12 months.
  • Evidence-of-need tooling — on the roadmap. Built into everyday IEP practice from day one, with a dedicated ORS evidence bundle next to ship.
  • Universal, Targeted and ORS-funded support in one view. See every student's tier and next review date at a glance.

The honest position

OMNIA does not replace the Learning Support Coordinator or the Ministry of Education's ORS process. Our New Zealand support is still maturing — the 6-month ORS cadence is modelled and next on our build list, and we'll say so plainly here until the automated pipeline fully honours it.
